Our story.

Built from experience. Created for what's next.

Kommon Room was created by people who have spent years immersed in Melbourne's dance community.

From the foundations of RISE! to the growth of KSTAR Studios, our journey has always been about bringing dancers together through training, performances and shared experiences.

Kommon Room is the next chapter.

A space bringing different teachers, styles and dancers together, with a focus on quality training, creativity and connection.

Built by dancers. For dancers.

Why Kommon Room?

More than a studio.

A common room is a place where people come together.

To connect. Share ideas. Create. And belong.

That's the idea behind Kommon Room.

A space where dancers of all levels can learn from great teachers, explore different styles, challenge themselves and be part of a community.

Not just somewhere you take a class.

Somewhere you want to keep coming back to.

Train. Connect. Create.
